Tim - I am going through the same issue, actually whether to use 185/65/15 or 195/60/15. Basically a tradeoff between better handling (195 wider tire) or better snow traction (185 slimmer tire).
Don't listen to someone who tells you these tires are too small, if you calculate the actual diameter of tire and wheel, it ends up being pretty much the same (take 185, multiply by .65 to give you sidewall height, multiply by 2 and add 15" to get diameter of wheel and tire combined, divide by 25.4 to get inches).
So, it's an issue of width and cornering ability. Look at the composition of snow/dry and highway/rural driving in your day-to-day routine to make a decision.
