Hi,

Now that the Saab-hating thread is gone, it's safe for us Saab
enthusiasts to post again :-)

Do you think 3,000 mile oil change is yet another ploy by the Man to
keep us spending money ... kind of like gift giving during Christmas?

Personally, I don't like the gift giving tradition of Christmas.
I don't know where it started. Maybe it's based on Jesus receiving
Gold, Frankincense and Mur, but he was JESUS!

I wouldn't mind getting Gold, but you can keep that other nasty stuff
to yourself, and WHEN is the last time you got Gold for Christmas?

Christmas unnecessarily concentrates our spending during few months of
the year and keeps alive companies that should be otherwise dead ...
like Chia Pet and Jaguar :-)
