That depends, the tires on the stock Aeroes, both the Primacy and the HX MXMs on the 2000s are no good on snow. If somebody has Americanized the car you are buying with all season tires, it might be ok for where you are. If they haven't or you are looking for optimal performance (all season tires are poor summer tires and poor winter tires) you definitely need to get a set of snow wheels and real winter tires which will add an additional $800 to $900 to the price of the car. Me? I live in the Seattle area where it rarely snows so I have so far gotten by with the original Michlins though two winters ago when we had 6 inches of wet snow, I finally ended up parking my 2000 Aero and taking my wife's Fiat X1/9 (all season tires and a mid-engine) to work.
