It's really the Used Oil Analysis which tells you what you want to know. But a Virgin Oil Analysis gives you a reference point, so you know what's being affected when you get the UOA back.
However, I'd be surprised if what you're seeing is actually settled-out additives. I'd guess it's probably "pipeline contamination" from the refining & bottling process. (Not to say that it can't be part of the additive pkg; only that I'd be surprised if it were.)
