Hi Anders,
My car is a 1999 with VIN X3035777. No gravel roads here, but pothole heaven at this time of the year (North East).
Again I will try to get the most info from the dealer, but I'll try to describe what I remember:
The CV Joint that fell off had two ends, an end which had grease and a rubber boot protectant, and the other end which was quite thick and all steel and was the side which completely broke off (steel broke). The part was about say, two feet long (maybe longer) with a roughly 3 inches in diameter.
Thanks
Dino
