Have they increased the oil capacity for the '04 9-5?
IMO, 15K without oil analysis is asking for trouble. Even Dick from Falls Church only goes 10K, and he uses Amsoil.
Personally I've been going with 5K changes on fully syn, and with my driving (about 12K/year) my oil analyses say I can go a bit longer. But I'll stick with 5K for now.
The latest BMWs go 15K between changes but they hold 7 quarts, and BMWs aren't turbocharged (turbo kills the oil faster). Even with 7 quarts and no turbo however, 15K is really pushing it, and the oil is beyond expired at that point...
