What in the world has Enron got to do with the 9-5?

Why would the Enron scandal hurt the Saab 9-5? Or any other car for that matter. Chances are greater that sales of the 9-5 will start to slip as Saab's competitors begin producing more advanced cars, which in my opinion is more the case. The 9-5 is still a great ride, but in this segment of the market,a five year run for a model is now considered long in the tooth. The 9-5 is already in year 6(counting 1999 as the first sales year),and so far, there are no spy photos circulating around showing it's replacement.Chances are it will be 2006 at minimum before we see anything new to replace it. That is more likely the reason the sales are starting to slide, not Enron,Imclone,or Worldcom.
