Front and rear shock/strut replacement with pictures

I have just replaced both form and rear shock absorbers on my Model Year 2000 Aero saloon with Koni adjustables. Follow the link for my experience with a few pictures.
I replaced them because I had unven tyre wear at the back, blamed originally on old suspension plus the Dunlop tread pattern. When it started on the new Pirelli P7000 this was getting too expensive to ignore. You get a drumming noise that gradually gets worse. Running my hand around the tyre I could feel the unevenness. I have them set 3/4 way towards hard. The car is like new, maybe better. (except for the drumming from the front still as I am trying to get those rear tyres, switched to the front, back into shape!) A service shortly should find out if any bushes need changing.
