not Dexron. Changing every 30,000 (if it changes 50%) means you have approx. 25% original fluid at 60,000, 25% 30,000 mile fluid, and 50% new fluid. Average age - 22,500. Maybe every 15,000 miles after the first change at 30,000 is a better strategy.
BTW, I find it hard to believe that the "fluid is working harder" in our AW 4 and 5 speed trannies than it was in the antedeluvian Borg Warner Slushbox of the 99/C900 ;-). In addition, the gearbox disables the slip mode and totally locks out the torque converter in gears 3-5 when it thinks it's too hot.
