Adrian, can you tell me a little more about the control arms (not sure if there are two or four in the car) and which ones were replaced? Please describe the problem you had as well. At this point I hear three "possibles" -- the control arms, the CV joints, the steering column. Still trying to sort it out.
The problem is very particular in this case ... a clunk from the front end when making turns (mostly right turns) at slow speed. It also seems to happen only when accelerating the car from a stop or during the turn (hence the thought that it was the engine mounts at one point).
Thanks, all, for your help researching this.
