Your statement about "jump to outside of the curve when I'm in a right hand turn" sounds like you may have a bad lower ball joint on the right side. Had that on an 83 900 base model that I had recently picked up, got worse and worse, check ball joints, they seemed to be okay...NO movement.
A few weeks later, lower ball joint failed, leaving the car broke down only a block from home. Towed car home, replaced whole assembly (both ball joints, wheel bearing/hub, rotor, etc with used parts from another car).
Inspected failed ball joint...SOLID RUST! I am assuming this was why there was no movement in the ball joint when I checked it previously.
Recommend you check / replace your's.
