I have an 83 900T with 320K+ on it. It is my wifes daily driver. It is down for CV Joint boots right now. We picked this car up in Sweden in 1983 and have enjoyed it nearly every day since then. Yes, I have spent some big bucks on this car. Howeveer, a lot of that money was wasted out of "Saab ignorance" If I had had this BB then I could have saved myself a bunch o' bucks.
If you have a really high speed car like Jeff Cunningham, or Dave, or any number of guys on this board, it is probably the only high speed low drag car that will haul a full sized stove inside. And, my wife refuses to sell the thing. To make things worse, I am just now beginnig to build on my 84 project car. If you loveit, KEEP IT!!!
Good luck
Ron
