Your gonna use those tools for a long time. This is not the place to scrimp on cost. Get something that is known, has good quality construction, and has a lifetime warranty. For home shops you can't go wrong with Craftsman. I don't work for them but my father (mechanic) uses all craftsman at home most of them are older than me. I've never broken any of their tools except a needle nose pliers and without question the local sears guy just gave me a new one. You can go with other brands as well but they may be more expensive than the craftsman (i.e., snap-on). Another good manufacturer of tools are the Husky tools from Home Depo (depends on where your located)they're just about the same as Craftsman. my 2 cents.
