They're relatively easy. Chet sent you to a good site for balljoints. If you haven't gotten them already (and you live in the salt belt), get a set of balljoint nuts and bolts. Sometimes the bolts rust solid with the old lower balljoints and they can't be reused. That's the nice way of saying that you have to destroy them to remove the old balljoints. :-)
On the shocks, be *very* careful with the bolts that hold the shocks to the lower A arms. If your car has spent any time in the salt belt, the nuts tend to sieze onto the threads of the mounting shaft. If you shear the shaft, you need to replace the A arm. Not cheap.
Use lots of a penetrant like Kroil or PB Blaster for several days in a row before attempting to loosen the lower shock bolt.
