being a doc i have needle and syringe on hand. i take a 22gauge needle with syringe loaded with crazy glue. i am able to inject small amounts of crazy glue into the crack. after it dries i do it again. any build up is carefully removed with lacquer thinner. this seems to stop the crack from spreading. u.v. protectors used over the life of the car (10 years) didn't stop the original dash from cracking, nor the replacement dash.
interestingly, i watched a guy repair a healiner. i am wondering if that process can be used to apply a thin layer of black leather over the entire dash.
