Hi,
Several months ago I shipped a complete kit to someone. via UPS. The shipping cost was about $25, I think. It definately does not weigh 80 pounds. I think it is more like 25 to 40lbs max. The heaviest items is the the doors. Keep in mind that it is made of ABS material.
Lastly, regarding the Aero....that car is a beast!!!! I am currently in the market of a clean 5sp. The automatics are really 9000CSE pretending to be a aero. The aero is a fast. The 5sp pumps 225 horses. It is just amazing. I have a '88 SPG. It is a nice car and great handling, but nothing in relation to raw power of the AERO. Sorry, SPG guys. You may not like styling of the aero, but you have to respect it. I've test drove several. On the highway, the car is solid and flat, this can be due to the wider stance. The classic 900 and I am sure the next generation, feels more tipsy in the cross winds. : - P
