Thanks folks for your sound advice. You convinced me! I got my Polaroid out, took a bunch of pictures, filed a police report, and then filed an insurance claim. The nice boys at the police station also insisted that I get a restraining order... they said the probability is very high that an unglued jerk like my *former* boyfriend would come back and try to do me physical violence.
Hopefully the cops showing up and the insurance company coming after him (for the claims payment) will make the jerk shape up and get his act together. But I won't be around to see it happen. I was over him the moment I walked out of the police station. Now it is off to the body shop. ARRRGGGG!!!
