Most of below are IMHO. I build and race SCCA sports cars, so most of my opinions come from experience on the track...
> - are stainless steel brake lines worth the money?
Not for street cars. The brake lines allow for less compromise in the braking system so racers prefer the added consistency, but for street use, would have limited functionality. However, I do understand wanting your car to look good...and they are much more attractive than the stock lines. So practically - they aren't worth it, unless making your brake lines pretty is part of your personal practicality.
> - drilled, slotted or solid rotors: experiences, data on stopping distances?
Shouldn't make diddly bit of difference. Slotted rotors are simply designed to help them cool, not to slow you down faster. Drilled rotors are a marketing ploy to make you think your brakes are being cooled when in fact the holes tend to trap heat and the lost mass to the rotor makes it unable to properly distribute the heat generated from braking. In case you don't know - this is bad. <<grin>> Racers don't use drilled rotors. Solid will last longer and give you more consistent behavior. If looks are important and you want to toss the money away (since you're likely not going to be driving hard and fast enough to worry about needing to cool your brakes) you can buy the slotted ones.
Having a decent rotor surface and using a high-friction pad tends to have the biggest effect on slowing cars quickly. Also, remember that adding extra stopping power and less compromise will increase the chances of locking the brakes - I'm not up on the 1990 SPG though...it may have anti-lock. Using the high-friction pads means also that you have to keep an extra-sharp eye on your rotors since they will be eaten significantly faster.
