I think the OEM dia of the front brakes is 11.4 inches
I definantly liked the results of stainless lines on my 87 SPG but the car did have 150+K miles on it when they were added. A week or 2 later, my mastercylinder went out to :o(
O have X-drilled rotors on my 87 SPG which have been flawless after 60K miles of use :o)
My 88 SPG also has X-drilled rotors which the previous owner threw on. However I am yanking them (sometime this winter) & adding a 330mm AP Racing kit I purchased in it's place. They are 13 in dia 4 pot calipers with X-drilled rotors. I figure I AP does X-drilled rotors, they can't be all that bad :o) But they do require 18 in rims. Abbott also sells a AP kit which fits the OEM 9000 16 in rims :o)
I wanted more braking power for track events & didn't feel the OEM brakes could take a few hot laps with a high HP C900. 40% reduction in stopping distance is what's claimed :o)
