AP does sell calipers that might fit, but you might have to go to 16" rims.

As I recall, tires seem to be the deciding factor in stopping distance...most brakes are up to the job for one hit. If you had had metalmasters, you probably would have hit the guy the first time he went perpendicular to you. the good thing about metalmasters is you wouldn't have hit him the second or third time he went perp in front of you. See where I'm going? The metalmasters wear well, but don't have much initial 'bite.'
IMHO the stainless steel braided teflon line brake lines are worth their cost...on older cars they compensate for weak hoses that are going to leak in a few years or get hit by alligators or otherwise fail. They just 'feel' that much better.
Drilled rotors are useless on the street or worse. Especially when they get wet..take a few turns to dry out and heat up. OTOH, they heat up faster, without the added mass of the drilled out metal. They stay cooler at the top end temp, however, with the increased heat rejection.
I think the ultimate solution is Porsche's ceramic disc/brake but it's a $7K ooption on the big bucks already turbo...hard to justify.
Unless you've tried/own a Boker ceramic knife. Note that they pass aircraft metal detectors, we don't need no steenking boxcutters!
