This is a tough one. The factory manual fault tracing for your fuel system is 120 pages. It could be a hundred different things.
One note in the book says to check the the earthing point(ground) on the engine lifting lug. Improper connection will alter the performance of the fuel system. I know that's a long shot, but it might be simple. Check all of your connectors, pull the plugs and try a better set, and are the plug wires new?
My similar problem was traced to a bad injector(and $300 of things they thought it was before the injector replacement)
Electrical problems could be expensive without the proper knowledge of knowing where to look first or the diagnosis equipment. Computers and cars!!!!!! At least with mechanical components you can see them wear over time, where as electrical systems fail instantaneously.
I hope someone else can be more helpful.
