the trannys on most SPG's will go in the area of 100-130k. So with 120k on the clock, it's time may be comming. It is not exactly what the tranny "feels" like, but sounds also play a large factor. If there is whinning in higher gears on accal, them the pinnion is going. Just search some links here on saabnet and read some others thoughts on trannys.

Also, if it were me, and the car is SO nice, I'd talke the guy down a smuch as I could stateing it has a bad/soon to be bad tranny. After that, either wait unitll real signs of it going come up and have a new tranny put in, or drive it till it croaks, then stick a rebuilt tranny in.
