Update - Got Spark, Got Fuel Pump, still no start

- As mentioned in earlier post, fuel pump comes on when 27-30 fuse is jumped.

- Have a spark (at least at #1) while cranking. Assume I have spark elsewhere too, or it would start and run rough, right?

- Tach stays dead at 0 while starter cranks. When the engine "tries" to start (which it sometimes does, before immediately dying), tach jumps up to about 1k.

So it seems like there's fire, but maybe no gas. Fuel pump works, but maybe something wrong with gas delivery between pump and injectors, or problem with injectors themselves?

J.B. posted the LH 2.4 tests. Bentley has a nice section on these, both a "fuel injection component test", and a table of "fuel injection on-board diagnostic fault codes"... is this the next step I should take?

The other remaining theory is that I screwed up a wire somewhere, either in the bundle going to the injectors that passes by the A/C hoses, or in the bundle down by the radiator drain. How on earth could I figure out which one got bumped and is causing the problem?

A final thought... maybe the AMM got disturbed whilst I was removing and checking air filter. Bentley seems to suggest that bad AMM wouldn't usually cause starting problems though..true?
