I've got a couple Hondas. My '95 Integra GS-R isn't boring (I need an 8,000 rpm redline to get to work ;-). Our '98 Accord with auto trans is kind of boring. I bet b.flippo over on the other board wouldn't describe his S-2000 as boring. Its also not the first thing that comes to mind about the NSX either.

I just sold an '89 900 with 219k miles & I've done my share of stuff to it. The first 100k or so with the 900 was pretty painless, but any car you keep for that long needs major things. I think that our base 900 was boring compared to my GS-R but I wouldn't say that about an SPG.

I've also hung out on a HondAcura BB & several months ago somebody asked who has lots of miles. I thought they'd be impressed with the 200+k Saab, but somebody over there said he's got an NSX with about 750k! I was pretty middle-of-the-pack with mileage since 200k wasn't unusual for them either. There (like here) we're talking about people who treat their cars well.

With the right incentive (fun) lots of other cars can be made to last a long time, too.

past cars in my family...
'72 Datsun 510 sold with 196k miles (rusted badly)
'74 BMW 2002tii sold with maybe 120k? (don't remember mileage)
'82 VW Rabbit sold with 117k (needed more room so got a Saab)
'86 Jetta GLI sold with 147k (wanted the faster GS-R)
'89 900 base sold with 219k
'95 Integra GS-R 110k (when is Saab gonna have something this size?)
'98 Accord 14k (well, we inherited it...)
'01 9³ 22k (hope it lasts another 200k)
