....that you may develop leaks from the syntheyic oil. Its not the oil that is breaking down the gaskets and such, its the synthetic's cleansing of the gunk build-up over the years that can be pluging up the gasket break-downs. Maybe start with a semi-synthetic for 1 or 2 changes to see if you develop oil leaks. Once you get them, of course you cannot switch back to dino oil and expect the leaks to be solved, but, you may get more if you go straight to synthetic.
Personally, I would go straight to synthetic and would take care of any and all oil leaks that could develop. Others will disagree.
