DET,
There is a way to pull codes on your abs, but I can't remember where I found it, but I will keep looking. I think you have to make a jumper switch, but I will try to find the info for you. I know the float sensor is pretty sensitive and had others suggest to me when I was having abs issues to make sure I had enough fluid in it. Start the car and let the pump run for a minute, then check the level. Depending on you brake pad condition, the level may have dropped to compensate for the wear on the pads. Also, if you don't know when the last flush for the brake fluid was, by all means flush the system. I did mine when I first bought the car and the fluid was dark brown. You said you have a bentley, so you should be able to find all the ground points from the diagrams. You know you have good pressure due to the accumilator checking out, so try the flush, contact cleaning and see if that will fix it. You could always tell the dealer just to pull the codes, and then go from there.
