The 4 by 10's are not mounted to the speaker covers in the dash. I used a type of insulation that you can buy at stereo stores. I layed it in both openings. I then slid speakers in holes-they fit if you silde them in just right. I then used zip tyes and was able to zip tye them through the speaker holes in 2 spots so they are secure. They do not move and sound much better than the 4's I had-much more bass response. Sounds kooky, but it works. If Saab would have designed the doors without those pockets I never use, we all would have no problems with imaging.Got todo what you can. GM has an awesome setup as well as justinhifi.
