RS,
You have helped me before. I send good thoughts, thanks, and karma your way.
I am frustrated...basically all kinds of electrical problems. Currently, starting problems. Sometimes nothing...no turn over. Now, turns over and over but does not kick in. Alternator was killing battery after battery and they kept blaming it on me. I know very little...basically nothing...about electrical system. There is often a second or two between when I turn the key and it starts. You think it won't start then it does. Very next time, typically, it is dead. A jump works. Lights are fine. Battery is only 3 months old and good. Only wierd thing is the positive cable has corroded extremely rapidly. Covered in white dust...I clean it though I don't know why it's happening or if it's connected. I have no lights at all on the dash (not even radio) working. Just an electrical mess. But starting..or NOT starting...strands you so that's the most important thing. Lastly, when it DOES start there is about 30 seconds of "chugging"...like it's going to stall....usually does not stall. But when it DOES stall upon starting, it will not start again. No way. Sorry to ramble....I'm just frustrated and feel helpless. I don't exactly have a lot of money. I know and appreciate your knowledge. You are obviously a good man.
If you have any thoughts, I"d be forever grateful.
Thanks for responding...
Best regards,
Martin 1990 900S lots of miles (smile)
