and thank you for that. I have not had a chance to test out all of the things that the link tells you to do (2 kids under the age of 5 really puts a damper on "free time"). But I am planning on following it, as well as the link someone else gave me to test out my cruise control, since it is not working.
The oil seepage is as you describe, coming out of the boot on the duct from the turbo discharge. Hopefully with what you just explained, as well as what is contained with the FAQ link, I will fins that the turbo is okay and that it is just some blockage somewhere.
BTW: I unplugged the hose coming out of the PCV valve and blew into it. There was no resistance, and I could hear the sound of my breath being pushed out of the large induction tubing in front of the engine. I thought these valves were one-way, meaning I should NOT be able to blow through them; only suck air from them. Does this mean the PCV valve is shot? Was there an upgraded version of this valve for this car (as is the case with newer 9000's)?
