hey mark,
From your description it sounds to me like a power steering issue. That being said; others here have offered suggestions which are also pretty valid, but if you think your fluid,pump and belt are okay and nothing else is apparent -why not take to a professional and have it looked into? If it is something more serious they should be able to determine what is going on. I have owned three Saabs and have had my share of front end troubles, but knowing when to have someone look over an issue for you is always a good option and should not be discounted. best of luck!
