Hi
I have just purchased a 1988 saab non-turbo manual tran, and it won't go into reverse. When you put into reverse it makes a grinding noise and all the other gears work fine. I was told that the collar is needed to put into reverse and you don't even need to use it to put in reverse.
To who every can help me fined out my problem and maybe tell me how much it might cost I would be very happy so I can use my car.
