I noticed last night that the clutch felt really easy to push in and it didn't make the noise that it does when it's normally activated , I'm pretty sure it was the same the first time as well.
I can move it left and right , but when i try to put it into gear it has resistance and I'm afraid to force it. The first time when I tried to force it into reverse it grinded bad and died on me and I was afraid to try the other gears to see. I can't remember if the ignition was on when I pulled it out of reverse, I belive it was.
Is there a way that I can find out without taking it to a mechanic? Is this the start of something that will only get worse? Why only on slopes or is it just by chance that it only happens then?
Thanks for your help. I'm new to the Saab world and still trying to figure things out. I've only owned VW's , and I thought they were a different beast.
