I understand wanting to keep them nice, but they are such great winter cars it seems a shame not to drive one when you really need it most. But unfortunately the number of classic 900s is steadily declining, and at some point they'll be rare and valuable enough to become toys instead of cars. Enjoy driving them as cars while you can. My dad has a '55 T-bird that is so perfect and valuble that he doesn't dare drive it for fear it'll get a single stone chip, which would greatly affect the value of the car. So it sits in the garage and he trailers it to car shows where it usually wins best of show. But what a waste.
