250m what? Voltage should about read zero. Resistance is safely read across a load in a dead circuit, not in series with a live circuit. You might have toasted the meter.
To check for current drain, you connect an amp meter(ammeter)in between the battery ground and disconnected cable. You should select the ammmeter ranges starting at the highest range and make sure the meter can handle a few amps without burning up. If you are draining your battery that quickly, there could be a 1 ampere of current flowing. Pull fuses until reading drops. The ammeter will never read zero amps with a clock and radio memory.
IIRC you have a passive seat belt...a likely drain.
