Thanks for your input. I have figured out the jumper problem, I was working with the system relay and not the fuel pump relay. When I do it with the right relay the fuel pump runs, but it does not solve the dying problem. I argree it is not the ECU pin #20 business. I have checked the engine light codes and I get codes 12111 and 12112, oxygen sensor circuit problem. On the component check every thing checks out properly. The tachometer appears to work normally. I have done the hot wire check on the AAM, checked the resistance on the AIC valve, and checked for continuity on the throttle position sensor. All check out OK. By pumping the accelerator, I have just now got the car running long enough to warm up a little, and it finally idled down near normal and has continued to run without my working the accelerator. After shut down and cool off, I am back to the same problem.
