Wiring connected wrong? plus more aux air valve

Thinking about why your idle would rise so high after warm-up - is it possible that you have one of the temp sensor wiring plugs connected incorrectly? Like if you have the aux air plug on the temp sensor and the temp plug on the aux air. That would mean an incorrect signal being sent to the ECU, which thinks it's still in the warm-up phase and directing a continual rich mixture to the modulator valve.
Also, even though the aux air valve is supposed to be closed above 70, by adjusting it you might be able to have it opened a crack above 70. Once the engine starts, a 12v signal is sent to the valve to begin closing, so it will still close all the way after 5 minutes regardless of it's original setting, but you may have an additional minute or two of higher idling until the O2 senor warms up enough.
