There should info on bypassing the time delay relay thats on the outside of the inner fender near the APC unit. It's a common fan problem source.I believe the temp switch in the radiator controls both fans i.e. when it's bad both fans are inoperative. Since I'm in Calif. I did the bypass thing on all my Saabs(sounds like a soap opera). I had fan problem on my 87T which I traced to 2 red leads in the upper radiator hose temp switch. The female blade connectors were loose and needed a slight crimp job.
