For what it is worth I have 1986 900s and have driven the 1994-1998 version and found it not nearly as engaging to drive. The 2000 to 2002 is a much better version and it has great reliabilty ratings with consumer reports. I have not driven the 2003 and up newest version as without the hatchback design it loses so much in utility. I would like to see more opinions on your post. Specifcally is the hatch as roomy on the newer models?
