In my experience, the pilot bearing is pretty robust. The clutch pedal attachment point for the clutch pedal is not. The hole throught the clutch pedal wears oblong so you lose motion taking up the mechanical slack before the master cylinder piston starts to move. Also, the master cylinder link to the clutch pedal wears oblong as well. The combination will cause some grind and feel like a sticking clutch.
Take a look at these pieces. The pedal is available from SAAB. The link is available in the aftermarket.
