I began my Saab life with a 72 99 also, then a superb cardinal red '78 EMS, the only 99 EMS 3-door. I thought the 99/900 Turbos were the best cars ever designed when they arrived. Next I owned an '84 8valve Turbo, and finally, this 1989 SPG I found with 96,000 miles 3 yrs ago. I am crazy in love with this car - sexy looking, comfortable for 12 hour cross country treks I often do, fast, great handling, and very very safe in a (God forbid) crash. NUMERO UNO: It looks and sounds like no other car on the road!!!
Yes, I might consider a hotrod 9000 Aero, although I hate 4 doors, and a pristine late 96 V4 would be kicks, but no other Saabs need apply. I will happliy buy and enjoy 900 SPGs the rest of my life.
