Much better than what I paid for the one for my '88 900S.
It's a wee bit tricky to get to the inner screw, but it's not a bad job on the whole.
Disconnect the negative battery lead (remember the code for the radio if you have a factory Clarion radio).
Get either a very long cabinet screwdriver (at least a foot) and thread it behind the oil fill tube so you can get both screws on the old voltage regulator. On some cars, it's easier if you remove the oil filter. In lieu of a long screwdriver, a right-angle screwdriver, maybe one with a ratchet, is a good way to go, too.
Undo both of the screws. Pull the old voltage regulator off. Put the new one in. Hold it with one hand while you thread the screws in. Tighten 'em up. Put the negative battery cable back in. Start it. Put the code in the radio. And you're all set to go.
DO NOT get an Echlin voltage regulator from NAPA. It doesn't fit. BTDT.
