No offense taken, but...

As Justin points out below, why are you bleeding the clutch in the first place? Is it a periodic fluid flushing? Then back flush the clutch first and suck out the nasty clutch fluid before doing the brakes. Have you just replaced the clutch MC or Slave? Well now the clutch lines are mostly empty already. Air trapped in the system? Chances are that happened when trying to bleed the system normally, so there's in clean fluid inside the clutch along with the air.
As for vacuum bleeding - In all my years, I have *never* successfully vacuum bled a Saab clutch. The working pressures are just too low, and the seals never seem to work against air being sucked past them - presumably on the slave cylinder. And I know what I'm doing and have appropriate (if primitive) equipment - I routinely vacuum bleed the brakes without problems. I have used several home made pressure bleed techniques on the clutches, including a version of the bicycle inner tube (I just cut out valve, removed the level sensor from the cap, stuck the valve through the opening, then put the cap back on) and soccor ball needle through the cap. They all worked too. I just find back flushing to be easier - you only need to "work" on one end.
Also, when performing that periodic fluid flusing, I have used gravity and patience. But when there's air trapped in the lines, it can stay trapped with the gravity technique.
