R.T. You should be able to find a decent C900t 3 door for around $2500-$3000, keeping in mind that they are all old cars and will constantly be in need of some, at least minor, repair. If you just want a C900 to drive and aren't picky about color or special variants (like SPG) then find a rust free turbo car with a good complete service record. There's no advantage (for you) in buying a cheap car that needs a tranny and then paying for that (unless you can DIY). Putting a fresh tranny in a C900 goes from about $1500-$3000 depending on some choices made and you generally get what you pay for. If you have an established Saab independant shop nearby then consult with them. Have them check out any prospective purchase car. They may also have leads on a good car for sale. Check out the classified section on this site. Good luck.
