Autos are great if the car is a turbo, and you live in an area with heavy traffic. I enjoy my auto turbo vert for I rarely take it on the highway, especially with the top down. Its just fine at 40 to 50 mph cruising along the beach on A1A...The engine revs high at 70 mph, but the top is noisy too. What do you intend the car for? a daily driver?
Fuel economy is better in a 5 speed, but still not too bad in an auto. I get in the mid 20s on average. Originally bought mine intending to swap it to a 5 speed, just happy to drive it as an auto until the tranny dies, no sign of it yet at 145K. Added bonus, your wife can drive it too...
