Don - you certainly know what to do on a new-to-you C900! Congrats for doing your homework. I think that you've hit on many of the items that a neglected C900 will need, like alternator bushings. BTW, I was also a 240Z enthusiast but haven't owned one for at least 20 years. As far as I'm concerned, Nissan is the only japanese company that can build a decent sports car! I prefer the european stuff.
Not sure if you've owned a european car before, but fuel injection is similar to that found on many other european cars. I think that some of the later ZX Nissans used Bosch L Jet as well but built it under license, or had Nippondenso build it.
Anyway, my quick reference guide doesn't show a part number for that grommet but I feel certain the the EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog) would, so try to get your hands on that.
I'd go ahead and replace all 4 injector o-rings if one is bad. They're so cheap to buy. Also, you might see if the boots are rotten on the Bosch connectors that go to the injectors. Most folks use black silicone RTV on these to seal them up. My C900 ran poorly and I found one of the connectors to be corroded. Autohausaz.com sells new boots with connector shells and terminals for maybe $7 each, but I need to find a bosch terminal tool. Until then, it's RTV for me
Anyway, welcome to the club!
