it can be either three things making the wheel wobble,
wheel bearing #1 cause or ball joints #2, or
a wrecked hub shaft.
i included a pic. to show what it will look like,
this hub shaft was grooved or grind-ed down by the wheel bearing leaving the side of the hub planed off (the outter half), with this hub on the car the wheel wobble was very significant.
after a new/used hub with a new wheel bearing was installed the wheel wobble was gone.
the only way the axle can involve itself in this is..........
...... well it cant.
it would be more pointing to the ball joints (upper/lower)
if they where wrecked they can get the wheel to wobble also.
replacing one hub, wheel bearing, and upper and lower ball joint on one wheel would cost around 100 buxs, if you did it as a D.I.Y. (do it yourself-er)
have fun, saabs are always a pleasure to work on.
