maybe this will learn me to keep the Bentley in the Posted by vvack0matic [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Re: it was a 92t and 89t, Saana88 ![]() ![]() |
car at all times.
i was in constant communication with the Indy thats going to do the work on the car and he had suggested that the problem being fuel related was very unlikely & was more for it being a hall sensor.
but never the less testing this theory i tried to flood the motor to get the distinct smell of gasoline, to see if the pump was out or perhaps a no fuel problem, but came out achieving the victory of successfully flooding the motor 3 times.
i heard auto zone has a computer that can read whats wrong with cars from a little unit, so tomorrow while its up on the tow dolly im going to pull by one and see if they can read anything from it.
i know it was a fairly amount of parts swapped in and out, but every time one was changed it was for sure the problem, in the end i found out my old set was just fine and it may very well be the ecu, .... wouldn't that sux
but there is only so much one can do on the side of the road.
i gave it a valiant effort before i filed for defeat.
but it will be good to finally hear what was the cause of this major failure.
if not its going to be dropped on the door step of the Indy.
most mystery puzzle that could have happened.
nut now i have a spare of everything.. hmhm perhaps i should return some stuff.
thanks for the help
