i tried everything
even dismantled part of the rack (the hoses)
so i fit my hole hand up there and perhaps get the nut tight.
i couldn't even get the wrench on the nut no matter what i did.
its like sitting in its own little home with walls on all three sides of the nut.
so once again just applied sealant to the stud threads so the snug nut can not back off.
but one thing i found that SWEDECAR mentioned.
checking the other bolts on the alternator side, i found two loose.
one right next to the stud (semi loose) and another really loose down the other side.
even with the bolts and nuts being loose im not loosing any motor oil.
just gearbox.
ill keep an eye on the gear box oil level and if the car starts leaving drips in that area again ill buy tube of loc-tight and smear it all up under there.
but for now ill rest at ease knowing there's 10 good bolts holding it on
