Austin,
BCP7ES is usually too cold of a plug for these C900 turbos. Even on cars that don't seem to get wet under the hood there can be a little moisture on a connector, sometimes trapped inside of a rubber excluder. I generally spray connectors with a little WD40 ("water displacing" 40) before connecting them even if they look clean and shiny. The LH brain is in the passenger compartment and the humidity or water situation can be different in there than under the hood. Corrosion on an eletrical connection needn't even be visible to cause poor conduction. Cheers
