CMyles, as always you're #1 when troubleshooting forks and synchro rings but I'm definitely sure the engine and tranny are nice secured and there's a good oil inside both (oh... I think I'd better change tranny oil in March; who knows when it was last changed by PO's).
It's not about poor I->II shifting. Engaging II gear from any other is a huge problem and it occurs only in the cold weather cause of fat and bulky clothes! Is there any way to extend the shifter to be a bit taller or make it S-curved? Or just tilt it a bit to the right, uh? My furcoat just falls away the seat and becomes a huge washer/gasket between shifter's knob and driver's seat. This drives me crazy!
I tried different coats with no luck. I tried lowering the seat but it doesn't work for me. I tried dressing off and on but Valkyrie is 3D hatch so I tire to the bones to throw it to the back seats and fish it out each time.
Please help.
Zig
P.S.
I wonder if I'm or my C900 is so special or others just take it as is and don't worry about this?
